This school offers training programs for those entering into the field as an ECG, Lab Assistant or Phlebotomy technician. Students who complete this program are prepared to start a career at area hospitals, physician’s offices or medical laboratories.
Throughout the program students are taught the skills needed to assist physicians with all types of patient care. Those who successfully complete the program learn how to properly operate an ECG machine, draw blood for lab testing and perform a variety of additional tests to help with patient treatment and diagnosis. During the program students will complete 12 successful ECG tracings and learn how to collect and store blood and other bodily fluids.
