This Phlebotomy Technician course prepares students for a lifelong career in the field of phlebotomy. Upon successful completion of this program, students are eligible to take the American Society of Clinical Pathology exam in order to become a certified phlebotomist.

A career in phlebotomy is not only a great choice for those interested in an entry-level medical career, but it is also a great start for those interested in going further with their medical careers. The program lasts for 8 weeks and includes lectures, simulated training in a lab and clinical experience at a local facility.

The course includes 80 hours of classroom and lab study, plus over 230 hours of clinical experience. To enroll, students must complete their admission to Delta College by applying online or in person at the admissions office.
