This location offers a Phlebotomy Certificate Program that will allow students to apply for their certification. The program will teach individuals how to draw and collect blood samples from patients in order to perform medical tests. Students will also be trained in a variety of other basic skills that are necessary in the field of Phlebotomy.

These skills include basic computer skills, recording patient information, medical terminology and basic lab procedures. The program takes place at the Piqua campus and can be completed in one semester. It takes 14.5 credit hours to complete. Courses for this program include an Introduction to Health Care, Lab Techniques, Phlebotomy Techniques, Documenting Processing and Personal Computer Applications. There is an internship that follows the course that lasts for 115 hours.

During this time students will need to complete 100 successful blood collections to complete the program.
