This Phlebotomy Program is offered at the Killeen campus and helps qualify students to work in a medical setting as a certified phlebotomist. Upon completion, students will be able to apply for a job at local hospitals, clinics, and private practices. The program consists of three courses which include the basic studies of phlebotomy, hands-on lab activities and a clinical.

The classroom course that covers all basic phlebotomy techniques is offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30AM to 11:50AM. This portion of the program lasts for ten weeks. The Phlebotomy Lab course meets on Thursdays from 1PM to 4PM and also lasts for 10 weeks.

During this phase, students will take part in hands-on training in the areas of infection control, safety, anatomy and physiology, quality assurance, communication skills and professional behavior in the workplace. The third part of the program is the clinical portion which will allow students to put all their training to use in order to prepare them for their new career.
